Developing Your Leaders for Your Future

#2020BEYOND was developed by Bob Berk with millennials in mind to help companies identify and develop their future leaders today. The program is intended for attracting and developing millennials for tomorrow’s leadership roles.

Bob Berk

Founder & Learning Officer

Bob has a lot of youngests and firsts in his career. It is a testament to his ability to stay out of the gap and in a place where he can move forward to where he wants to go. At 24, he became the youngest supervisor in the history of the company for the Florsheim Shoe Company, responsible for over 40 stores in Southern California and Arizona. At 26, he became a partner of Milgram Kagan Corporation, which he helped grow to become the largest independently owned retail shoe company in the United States with over 120 outlets. He ultimately became President and CEO of the company. It was sold in 1985. Bob then became a consultant, focusing on small and mid-market companies. His practice focused on strategic planning and human resource development programs.

In 2001, Bob became a Chair for Vistage International, the world’s largest chief executive organization. In 2004, he was the first recipient of the Bob Nourse Award, as the top chair among 450 of his peers. Bob serves on the Chairman’s advisory board, and he currently coaches over 100 CEO and C-suite executives. Bob has spoken at the New York University Institute of Retail Management, and for the past couple of years, led a leadership seminar at Walter Payton College Preparatory School in Chicago. Bob also serves as the Chairman of the Board of A Giving Heart Foundation, a 501(c)(3) foundation which funds research to prevent children from ever having to face open-heart surgery.
